Top Two Both win 5-1
No change in the top two positions Crosby Comrades both won 5-1. Les Dodd “B” at home beat Con Club “A” with Mark Bellas saving the whitewash defeating a good opponent in Mark Hopgood.
Comrades playing away beat Brook Club. Black ball fight between Trevor Kinley and Anthony Mackay. Chris Hannon the Brook winner with a decent score-line in his win over Ian Murray. Breaks of 30 A. Mackay 35-20 N. Farrington and 20 for Chris Hannon.
Our Ladys “A” away to legion “B” also won 5-1. Gary Rimmer saved the whitewash for the home side in his win over Ian Dickinson. Breaks of 27 Jim Tristram and 21 for Bill Clare en route to beating Mark Rimmer.
A good win for Ince Club playing at home beating legion “C” 4-2. George Howells won a re-spotted black against Andy Pope and Ray Lavelle won a black fight against Mike Pope. Could easily have been a full house for Ince!
Our Ladys “B” playing at home lost 4-2 to Holy Trinity. Roger Wilkins and John Mooney replied for the home side. Good performance from James Holman and Colin Robertson trouncing Phil Kershaw and Andy Hesketh respectively.
No score card from Con Club “B” v Les Dodd “A” which will result in one point being deducted from the score of the home side. Three fixture left, will it go to the wire for the league winners?
