Living Flames Handicap Down to Last 16

This week’s action in the Formby & District Snooker League has moved away from the league to the individual handicap now known as the ‘Living Flames Handicap’, sponsored by Living Flames of Birkdale.

Fifty-Three entrants were whittled down to just sixteen in the matches held at five different venues. The sixteen qualifiers for Round Three to be held in the New Year were as follows. Dave Quinn, Frank Bradley, Mark Hopgood & Dave Hartley from Les Dodd’s Snooker Centre, Richard Bell, Mark Bellas, Mark Abbott & Graham Clark from the Conservative Club, Ray Lavelle, Mark Rimmer, Peter Bennett & Gordon Dale from the Legion, Steve Hollinshead & Phil Harbon from the Brook Club & Luke Palethorpe & James Holman from Holy Trinity.

Could all delegates be reminded that the next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday 13th December, 8 pm at the Legion. This meeting follows the ‘Mac & Jack’ Semis held the previous evening where Les Dodd’s B are at home to Con Club B and Our Lady’s B are at home to Les Dodd’s A.
